FluoroGrip® insulation pipe wraps and pipe tapes are an excellent multi-purpose solution to a variety of needs throughout chemical plants, primary metals industry, electronic and food processing environments.

FluoroGrip® insulation pipe wraps and pipe tapes are the products of choice when corrosion from aggressive chemicals, high temperature cycling and abrasion demand a reliable solution for equipment, structural steel and exterior of piping and ducts.

FluoroGripTM M

FluoroGripTM M is surface-treated MFA* fluoropolymer, optimized for bonding with our adhesives. FluoroGripTM M is our premium pipe tape for corrosion protection under the most demanding conditions.

FluoroGripTM M is best suited where Temp. reach 450°F and chemical or other exposures occur.

* MFA is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and perfluoromethylvinylether. MFA is structurally and functionally similar to perfluoroalkoxy fluoropolymer (PFA).

Installation is Easy:

Before applying FluoroGripTM, make sure the substrate is clean. Surface contaminates can be easily removed with any appropriate solvent or detergent. Then apply film by removing the release liner and applying the adhesive-backed film.

FluoroGripTM E

FluoroGripTM E is surface-treated ECTFE* fluoropolymer, optimized for bonding with our adhesives. FluoroGripTM E offers excellent chemical resistance and good gaseous barrier properties. All of our insulation pipe wraps and pipe tape have excellent surface smoothness and resists abrasion.

FluoroGripTM E is the right choice for exposures to 325 °F and / or in abrasive situations.

*ECTFE is a copolymer of ethylene and chloruotrifluoroethylene.

5-mil clear ECTFE (Halar®) tape wrap used to protect dual-laminate FRP piping to protect the exterior resin from chemical attack in a high temperature, splash and spill environment in chlorine and caustic areas.
